Five setup steps, each with an owner
- You bring your network and pharmacy contracts and your own payment processor account. We confirm them at setup.
- You give us your pharmacy's ordering account, if we send prescriptions to it.
- thimblehub builds your intake and checkout, then connects your network if we route to it.
- thimblehub maps your products to your pharmacy and turns on dispatch.
- You and our team run a test order together.
Steps two and four apply when we send prescriptions to your pharmacy. For a network we don't route to yet, we'll tell you on the call what connecting it takes. No clinician network yet? We'll help you find one that fits your brand and introduce you, and you agree terms with them directly.

See integrationsWhat to have ready
- Company and legal details, and a support contact.
- Your logo as a PNG or JPEG, plus your colors and font.
- The name and email of the person who'll own your admin account.
- A product and pricing sheet: each product's price, whether it's one-time or a subscription, whether it needs a prescription, and how it's fulfilled.
- Which clinician network you use, and any credentials you already have for it.
- If you use your own intake forms, who manages them.
- Your domain plan, and who controls your DNS.
During setup
- Accounts. Your admin owner gets an email to set a password, and your team is invited with roles.
- Domain. Your site stays on your own domain. On Scale, checkout and portals can use it too: your admin portal generates the DNS records, your DNS owner adds them, and we verify them.
- Payments. We run a test payment through your payment processor account and confirm the setup with you before launch.
- Compliance. We sign a BAA with every customer. Sites are built to LegitScript's requirements, and we support your certification. The certification itself is yours.
Tested before you go live
Your checkout, portals, and site are tested end to end before you go live. That covers intake, checkout, a case reaching your clinician network, portal sign-in, consent, the shop, and the emails patients get.
At handoff you get your admin and patient portal links, a summary of how everything is set up, and the Docs page in your admin portal.
After launch, tag our support bot in Slack
Your team and ours share a Slack channel. For anything you need, from a fix to a feature request, tag our support bot there. It opens a request, and someone on our team owns it.
- Start with a one-line summary, then add details and screenshots in the same message.
- The bot posts a status card in the thread with a reference number, and updates it as your request moves.
- Reply in that thread with anything new. No tag is needed, and our replies land there too.
- Type p0, p1, p2, or p3 to set priority. Use p0 when patients can't order, pay, or get care, or patient data may be at risk.
Talk through your setup
Tell us your clinician network, your pharmacy, and what you sell, and we'll map each step and its owner with you.
Frequently asked questions
- How long does setup take?
- As fast as you want to move. We can get you live quickly and work at your pace, and we go through each step with you on a call.
- Can we move our current patients over?
- We set up your checkout and portals and test them end to end with you. If your current platform holds your patients' saved cards, each patient enters their card once on your new checkout.
- What support do we get after launch?
- Tag our support bot in the Slack channel your team shares with ours, for anything you need. It opens a request that someone on our team owns, and our replies land in its thread.
- Can we change things after launch?
- Yes. Your team can edit words and photos and preview before publishing, or send us the change and we make it.
